Lock Picking Guide

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

When you have a lot of time to kill and have nothing to do with it the best thing to do is find a hobby that will take up time but more importantly give you something interesting to do that benefits you in some way. Many hobbies get you in physical shape and still others can work your mind and develop abstract thinking which will help in every facet of your life. The common hobbies are sports and video games and model cars however the more off beat hobbies are more interesting.

One of the most fun and challenging hobbies on earth is available on Lock Picking Guide. Many people will think of Lock Picking as more of a thing that bad people do to help commit crimes, but that is simply not the case. Locks have always been a way to keep people out of things but humans by nature are interested in everything, much as cats are, and feel uncomfortable not knowing things. Locks are synonymous with secrets and since everyone wants to know secrets locks have become the enemy. Defeating the thing that you view as the enemy can be very enjoyable. That is what Lock Picking allows the person to do.

There are a handful of tools and a lot of techniques involved with this hobby and the best part about it is that most of them are relatively inexpensive to buy and can often times actually be made for pennies provided the individual is a somewhat handy with some household tools. If you are searching for a challenging hobby and one that can be done virtually anywhere at any time we strongly recommend looking into lock picking. There will always be more and more advanced tools to work with and locks to work on so the challenge will never end. It can be hard to learn but fun to do. So if your are interested in embarking on Lock Picking, do check out Lock Picking Guide today.

fructose

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

I’m learning that there are other reasons to avoid fructose. It is hypothesized that it’s a very “lipogenic” sugar, meaning that it easily creates fat. Furthermore, evidence supports the idea that fructose raises LDL levels. So you may want to avoid it if you have high cholesterol. (Fruits are very high in fructose. It’s ironic, isn’t it, that eating fruits can raise your cholesterol? Personally, my advice would be to eat fruits, but avoid high fructose corn syrup. That means cutting out non-diet sodas!) If you’re a diabetic, this all may be rather surprising, since historically diabetics have been counseled that fructose is superior to other sugars given its low glycemic index. However, that reasoning is being rethought given the potential of its deleterious effects.sub topic

I suppose that this is an appropriate time to say I’M NOT A DOCTOR (yet)! I’m just a first-year med student. So take everything I write with a grain of salt. And consult your own physician. Yada yada…. :-)
Heroes - Unexpected (1×16)Here’s a of a bag I made last weekend. Well, actually, it’s a close up shot that I took with my keychain camera, so PLEASE excuse the lo-res.

Here I am wearing a tank top (and matching belt) that were also made last weekend! I was on a roll! :))
Best episode in a long time and a fitting title for a show that just keeps giving us answers, as opposed to Lost, which just keeps giving us more questions. Claire’s mom continues to slide in and out of remembering things and ends up in the hospital, setting Claire off. Matt tells his wife about the diamonds and she tells him that some scientist named Mohinder has been calling. Sylar, pretending to be toaster-melter Zane, and Mohinder arrive in Montana to find a woman who can hear everything. And HRG convinces Isaac to help him track down Peter, catching him and Claude Raines on a rooftop

Ever heard of Bayes’ Theorem? It calculates the probability of a given event given the a priori occurrence of a related event. Wikipedia has a fine entry about it. Here’s an excerpt:
