Dwaine (yes, he’s next because he’s a tad bit younger than me…) is really beginning to enjoy the work he’s doing. His official title is the “Monitoring & Evaluation / Policy Specialist” on a project called KURET… Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, & Ethiopia Together. He’s on the regional management team that overseas activities in those four countries. Their goal is to use education as a tool to reduce child labor in HIV/AIDS affected communities. He’s employed by the Academy for Educational Development, who is working in collaboration with World Vision and the International Rescue Committee. It is great work that can change the lives of many kids. They’re just getting started…. but is our time here already coming to an end?!?!? The movie is not “history” per se (The book covers everything from skincare strategies to manicures and pedicures and everything in between! There is even a shopping guide in the back with every beauty web address you could ever think of! Fabulous and informative…I like that!

On another note, Comments For A Cure ends tonight at midnight so far I only have 27 comments total - so get typing ladies!! The question seemed to work really well at getting you all out yesterday so today’s question is:

Me (Naoma)…well life has changed a lot for me and I’m pretty proud of myself for taking it in stride. Our furniture shipment finally arrived this week so I’ve been getting the house in order which only makes me love it all the more. I’ve also been spending quite a bit of time trying to foster relationships with some of the other families here. I look forward to possibly getting involved in volunteer work….should we choose to stay.
